Secondary Education
Building knowledge and values for a bright future
Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO), the last stage on the road.
ESO is the final stage of compulsory education and its objective is to offer students an educational environment that favors their development and personal autonomy. During this stage, co-responsibility, the development of social skills, critical spirit, problem solving, creativity, the value of effort and commitment and the promotion of equal rights and opportunities for all are promoted. These key skills in the 21st century are fundamental for success in higher education and in the professional sphere.
Our methodology

Technology Plan
Our commitment to technology education is so great that Google has certified us as a Google Reference School. The goal is for our students to finish their studies prepared for an ever-changing technological world. To achieve this, we have created MakerSpace, a space designed for students to engage in activities such as robotics with the innovative C360 program, learn video editing with the Chroma machine, or explore geometry through 3D printing.

Methodological diversification
To enhance personalization with the students and adaptation to groups.

APS: Service Learning
At our school, service-learning is an innovative educational methodology that combines the learning process with social commitment. Through this proposal, high school students develop knowledge and skills while participating in projects that respond to real community needs. This methodology fosters values such as empathy, responsibility and teamwork, turning young people into agents of change.

Project-based learning
We started project-based learning (PBL) in secondary school in the 2014/15 academic year, with a vision of work by areas, globalizing and motivating for students. Our project was selected by EduCaixa’s Educational Revolution program to be externally evaluated. The results of the evaluation (see report) concluded that the impact of our project is positive (>1.117), far exceeding the average (>0.40).

Engrescate
Through reading and the «Engrescate» project, we manage to turn reading into a leisure habit among students, favoring a space for personal balance and holistic intellectual development. This project improves various aspects of learning, such as attention, general cultural knowledge, civic values, literary competence, written and oral expression, spelling, as well as motivation, classroom order, group cohesion and emotional balance.

Sports sessions
They aim to promote the physical, social and emotional development of students through physical activity. In these sessions, we seek to encourage the practice of different sports and games, adapted to the abilities of each group, promoting values such as cooperation, respect, discipline and teamwork.
